Nutrition Services

Our  Nutrition Program provides hot nutritious meals meeting one-third of the Recommended Dietary Allowance. Each menu is approved by a Registered Dietician and is considered to be “Heart Healthy.”  We do not deep fry anything and do not add salt although it is available on the tables.

Meals are served cafeteria style but help is available at every meal to help carry your tray.  If you are new to the center just let staff or the volunteers know and we will be happy to assist you.

We suggest a donation for your meal but no one is refused service for lack of funds as long as they have completed the enrollment form.

Eligibility for these services: A client must be over 60 years of age, a spouse of an individual over 60 years of age, or a disabled person living in senior housing attached to a congregate meals site.

Home Based Care

WyHS:  Is a program funded by the State of Wyoming to help seniors avoid  premature institutionalization.  Fees are based on the client’s income.  Services include Light Housekeeping, Short Term Respite, Certified Nursing Services, and Case Management.

Family Caregiver

Caring for a loved one can be both rewarding and stressful.  We can help the caregiver in several ways.  First is case management where we help you develop a plan of care and how to meet the needs of your loved one.  Second is Counseling and Education designed to help you deal with the stressors of caring for another.  Third includes information in groups or individually.  Fourth is our supplemental services including our loan closet.

Our most popular program is the in-home respite care we provide.  Our staff can come into your home while you run errands, enjoy an activity or just rest.

Special events will also be listed on the Website, in the Newsletter, on the closed circuit televisions in the Main dining room or on the signs posted around the centers.
